How much does a stock Integra GSR injector flow (in cc/min)? Thanks.

Thanks Holden. I noticed a lot of people are running 310 cc injectors. I can get the 270 cc injectors pretty cheap, so I'm thinking about those. I figure since I'm going to boost 8 psi soon, it might be a good idea. Any little bit helps.

    Any opinions on this?

    Greg, I think the GSR's and LS's are 235cc.
(unconfirmed, but the number that cam up 9 times out of 10 in my quest for injector information.)

I have 270cc units right now (15% more flow at any pressure) which are working excellent. If you are going to go big (370's...) make sure you deal with fuel management.

    Exclamation

A set of B series injectors were tested by RC and the results posted over on ClubSi not too long ago. Their results were 250cc/min. My testing of a set of 270cc/min RCs and a set of 280cc/min Venoms led me to believe they weren't much different from stock. I still had to run close to the same fuel pressures at full boost. It wasn't until I installed 320cc/min injectors that I was able to dial down the fuel pressure on my car and safely run boost in the 9 to 10psi range. I wouldn't bother with 270s. Get 310s.

But the max boost I would run is 8 psi. If I can run 8 psi smoothly with the 270cc injectors and a BTM, then that would be fine. Of course, since safety of the engine is my key concern, if I REALLY NEED 310 cc injectors, then that might be the solution.

I saw a previous post by someone who has the 8psi setup that I'm about to do. He was using 270 cc injectors and he said that his air/fuel meter showed rich when on full throttle and at the top of his rpms. Looks like the 270s worked out fine.

Of course, I do understand getting the 310's just in case I ever want to up the boost past 8psi. . . but most likely, I won't. Damn California smog laws. Hehe

    Any more thoughts on this?

The 270s flow about 8% more than stock B series injectors if that; I had to run about the same pressure with the RC 270s as I did with the OE injectors on a buddy's GSR. I also tried Venom 280s on my GSR and found they barely flowed more than OE. Where I had to run 85psi with the stock injectors, I could run as low as 75psi with the Venoms. Not a big difference at all. Not suitable for a boost upgrade, and still running fairly high pressures to boot.

If you're going to upgrade injectors you might as well give yourself plenty of headroom so you don't have to run such high pressures, and you can upgrade boost without upgrading injectors again. If you were running 310s you could keep peak pressure in the 55psi range with your 6psi system and keep it in the 75 to 80psi range even when running 8 to 9psi.

310s are manageable with pressure low and high end adjustments alone. My main gripe is the laser spray pattern, which is less than ideal on our engines for normal driving.

Only 8%? If there's a chance that the stock injectors do flow at 240 cc / min (or even better at 235 cc / min), I think I may just risk it and buy the 270 cc's for now.

I can always tune the fuel later to see if everything is running fine, right? What do I need to watch out for? Lean conditions?

FWIW: I'm getting enough fuel to run without detonation with max 67psi FP through Venom 320's for 10psi boost.
